Bell peppers

Brightly colored bell peppers burst with vitamins and minerals. They deliver large amounts of vitamin C and vitamin A, two powerful antioxidants which can improve the condition of persons suffering from high cholesterol levels, heart disease, cataracts, joint pain, arthritis and asthma. Bell peppers also contain vitamin B 6 and folic acid. Because of their vitamin levels this vegetable helps prevent colon and lung cancer.
